I can almost smell licorice from that photo, Kathy! Perfect! That's what Distant Drums is supposed to look like but so seldom does in the heat and brilliant light. Can you imagine how excited Dr. Buck was when he first saw this flower after so many tens of thousands of pink seedlings? I'm surprised he didn't call it "Whoop!"
