Seil.......
This rose does not black spot in my garden in the mountains for northern California, but it is the first rose to be attacked by spider mites. Sometimes, I don't catch the spider mites quickly enough to keep all of the foliage from being damaged. Once, I wash the rose daily for three days, the spider mites are gone and the rose refoliates very quickly.
btw ... great photo.

Thanks, Lyn!
Every thing WILL black spot here at one time or another. Just the climate I'm in here on the lakes. It's probably because the leaves are so dense on it that it defoliates for me. I have Cindy in a basket and I haven't had any problems with mites but I'll keep a look out for them.
Thanks again, seil
