Stefan, this is possibly the silvery pink HT 'Dean Hole' which was in the Sangerhausen collection of 1936.

Sounds like a good idea, Jedmar - I will check this on my next visit to Sangerhausen. However I cannot see any traces of salmon or yellow on my pictures of the bloom - so we should not let our hopes fly too high...

Have you had a chance to visit this rose again Stefan? I agree with your comments - unless this colour is not typical but some chance aberration, it does not resemble the original descriptions or the portrait. Perhaps this rose could have the study name "Sangerhausen Reynolds Hole".
