Dear Lyn
I have Midnight Blue in the same garden and it looks really different.
No this photo shows Vêtue de Deuil as the moos and foliage showed.

OK.. I've removed the "inaccurate" code and will let others decide. It was the shape of the petals and the number of petals that did not seem consistent with the other photos that made me think the photo might have been posted to the wrong rose page.
Since you know the rose and have probably seen it in its many variations, I am happy to step back.

Ah cripes! I thought I had found a way to delete these "incorrect" I's by moving the photo to another rose, and then back again to the correct rose. It worked, but apparently only briefly.
Admin, can you help here please?

I honestly think the rose in this photo is 'Midnight Blue' and had been posted to the wrong rose page on HMF. I see that you do grow MB, so you might want to move the photo, if you agree.

Dear Lyn,
There is prominent mossing on peduncles, also foliage looks nothing like Midnight Blue.
