Wonderful Jay Jay! I am so happy this rose has been rescued from obscurity! Thank you for your efforts to get it back into commerce. Perhaps one of these days we may even get it back in the US?

I hope that for You Kim and for others, that might like this rare and special (pink) 'Mysterious' rose. The colour differs a bit from the one on Your photo due to soil and climate... I guess. And yes, it is in commerce again by Lens nurseries(Louis Lens N.V./Pépinières Louis Lens SA)

I'm not surprised the color differs. The temperatures, soil, water and climate under which the two photos were taken were vastly different. It's actually surprising they resemble each other so well! My photo was likely taken in mid nineties to triple digit F heat.

It was hot that day way over 30° C, but not as hot as at the time Your photo was taken. Mine are standing in partial shade too. Maybe I'll plant one in full sun.
