Do you know of any other roses that get this gall, that in the U.K. is known as a robin's pincushion? I've only ever seem it on Rosa glauca and Rosa canina.

I find these galls interesting and I would never remove them I am happy they are on my roses.

I have it or something similar on what I think is R x Dupontii. I can't be sure about the ID because the plant came to me as something else.

According to Wikipedia they grow on Rosa canina, arvensis, dumalis, rubiginosa and glauca. Rubiginosa, dumalis and canina are all very similar but arvensis is very different and I've not seen it ever growing on that.
