Hallo Hortus,
Is this plant sterile or does this plant not set hips? It might be a male plant.
Did You use the pollen?
In fall the colour of the foliage of Your rose is stunning!

This plant has never brought rose hips. Also their pollen could not be used despite many attempts in the breeding.

A pity with such fall colouration! Isn't it an idea to use Erinnerung an Brod instead of its parent R. Setigera.
What tricks might Geschwind have used? Oh now I see... No tricks, but he used: 'R. setigera tomentosa'

My Erinnerung an Brod plant makes very scarce hips. Just one to 5 per year. But some of the seeds produced plants. Still have two seedlings.... left over from three years.
