I'm planting one today. I hope mine is as prolific as yours. I had Climbing Iceberg there since 2006 & it died over winter. I ordered what was left on sale at Edmunds. I looked at other climbers & this seems like it's one of the best new climbers.

mine is doing well and is once again covered in flowers and at least 6 feet tall in May. Love the way each bloom lasts so long and is such a brilliant orange. hope yours does as well.

Thank you. After winters of 2013-2014, 2014-2015, I tried buying more own root roses last year. But this past winter I lost a lot of old established own root roses including minis & minifloras that I'd planted in 2002 through 2008. I don't winter protect, only add additional mulch around bud unions if I didn't plant deep enough to have them under the soil. I add extra cedar mulch around bases of all of them.

None of the mini or mini-flora I grew survived my zone 5a winter either. They all died the 1st year !! Now I aim for the TALLEST & largest rose FOR OWN-ROOTS.
