Beautiful rose and coloration. How has this bush done for you? I am considering it for my gardens.

Hi, Stan,

I got this rose at the beginning of last year, and I was a little bit worried because I hadn't ever heard of it. However, Eureka seems to be a pretty tough little rose, as it made it through the winter here easily (I'm in zone 4).
Most of my roses had Powdery mildew last year, but Eureka seemed to stay cleaner than most of them.
Near the end of the growing season, it started showing signs of some sort of deficiency that none of my other roses had. I'm keeping a close eye on it to see if it has the same problem this year or not. I'll let you know if it does it again. Other than that, it seemed to be a very nice rose. It always had quite a few blooms on it at a time and grew to between a 1 1/2' and 2', with a nice rounded shape. All things considered, I'll tentatively reccomend this rose to you.

I hope this helps you make your decision!

Hi Mikayla,
Thanks for the information. I am still not sure which way I will go but your information does help. You mentioned Powdery Mildew on your roses, I have never had much problem with PM on my roses but my Mom has had lots of problems with it. I got this fungicide called Green Cure and used it on her roses. It wiped out the PM and has kept it away too! I really like it and it is much safer to use than many of the other fungicides. I even use it on the pumpkin vine and cucumber vine leaves to keep the deadly PM off of them, it works great and we get bumper crops of both now!
