Yes, it does. I never thought I would say I want another gallica, but I could be persuaded. Macrantha was a favourite of the Tasmanian breeder, Lilia Weatherly, and she bred at least two roses, 'Margaret Bushby' and 'Peggy Coombes' from it.

The two you mentioned apparently aren't in commerce anyway, so I'm safe. Nice try though.
(Although Freycinet sounds annoyingly wantable. A recurrent Roseraie de l'Hay would be even niftier than the original.)
