Is this the rose that grows wild at high altitude with a nice fragrance? It's lovely !!

It grows wild in areas of low altitude too - we are 118m. And yes - beautiful fragrance.

Straw: Rosa brunonii grows at medium altitudes, ie, 5000 to 8000 ft in warm regions. In colder regions it can be found at much lower altitudes. It is Rosa webbiana that grows at high altitudes, ie, between 7000 to 13000 ft above sea level.
