This rose is a amazingly strong grower once the snow melts it takes off it more than doubling in size from Summer to Winter it just screams look at me! Moreover this pic shows how it overwintered keeping its green stems an part of its summer leaf foliage. Note this photo was taken in upper North Idaho after our 5th coldest winter of all time 120 plus inches of snow an a average of 10 degree colder December to March, kept its green the whole time! less then 10% of my 200 plus roses managed to do that this year and my Icecaps we're planted the same year.
