Cliff, you and I appear to have the same variety labeled 'Schoener's Nutkana.' My plant came from Sequoia Nursery. Have you looked at the shots posted by Kim and by Peter Harris? Another mystery to solve....

Cass, mine came from the Uncommon Rose, so it's likely to be the same as yours from Sequoia. I frankly hadn't focused on the differences, but now that you mention it....!

The difference in the flower might have various reasons. Cass, Cliff, Peter, why don't you also post pictures of plant details for comparison?
