This one virtually disappeared off the market for anyone in the Western US. I decided to get one after taste-testing Sunrosa Red and deciding the line was good enough to try out. It was off the market and has been every year I have sought it out. I ended up getting Sunrosa Fragrant Pink, but it seems to hate heat, unlike Sunrosa Red and Sunrosa Orange Delight.

I did wonder if Sunrosa Soft Pink was bred from Kent and Chevy Chase, but it's too hard to tell by the foliage (for soulineana traits) in the photos.

Hi Michael! I can try to take some more pictures and post them. The plant is completely thornless and seems to basically be a nice mounded polyantha. It has been relatively healthy and healthier than Sunrosa RedTM. The foliage is more petite than Sunrosa Red. Do you suspect KentTM in the background because Keith Zary used it in some of his other roses before he stopped breeding roses? What clues do you see for 'Chevy Chase'?

I suspected Chevy Chase as a parent to Sunrosa Red due to the foliage when new, some poly characteristics, and the patent traits for the unknown parent. I had wondered if it was also used for Soft Pink.

I suspected Kent because of the history and timing, but also because I grow Kent and have seen its selflings here and there on the ground in cement cracks , which tend to have a similar plant look and color. (I'm serious lol... yes, they have germinated in the pavement. I even sprayed some with herbicide! They thrived...).
