This is not the rose that I know as "Shady Lady". My rose is the semi double , pink blend [has white center] as noted in the description whereas the photo by Yoko Kanemoto is very double and a solid colour .
There is a pink minature rose that goes by the name of Lutin [or there is in Western Australia anyway , that I had in my garden in the 90's ] and that is what I believe the Photo#3742 to be of .
The rose in the photo uploaded by Lyns Rose Garden is the same as mine .

Thank you so much sharing your expertise here, it's much appreciated.

Can you (or anyone) provide any additional details about this other 'Lutin'.

I've added a couple of references for a 1971 mini: 'Rosy Gem', syn: MEIradia, 'Lutin'.
It sounds a paler pink than Yoko's deep pink rose.

The mini I had was a lighter pink , but I thought possibly the colour variation could be due to camera differences or being grown on a patio in the shade etc.
What really made me look hard at the photo though was the little pointy tips to the petals .

Don't I hate this re-using of names or what ? Are rose growers so devoid of imagination / originality .....
it just causes so much confusion .

Many mini's have those little pointy tips. If I see a photo with pointy tips and no scale object or ruler, I am alerted that it may be a mini. I find it a very pretty thing in a rose.

Yes it gives them a very dainty look.

Patricia........

Many of the Ralph Moore roses have that petal shape and are included in the linage a lot of minis that have been on the market as he was a prolific breeder. Koko Kanemoto's photo is almost identical to the bloom I see on 'Dian'. Paul Barden has a photo on HMF of 'Dian', but the white center in that photo is not always displayed in other blooms on the plant.

Lyn

The 1971 'Lutin' is indeed sold in Japan. The photo on the nursery website is indeed more pink, than deep pink, but the form of the bloom is identical to this one.
