Diese rose ist nicht karmesinrot, wie die Beschreibuing der RH von Moreau-Robert, sondern die (ebenfalls falsche) Zentifolie, die in Sangerhausen steht.

Hallo, vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Habe in einigen Foren diesbzgl. Den Verdacht gelesen, es sei eine Kronsburg. Werde das Bild zu Vergleichszwecken ersteinmal mit Hinweis stehen lassen.

what makes you sure, that this is the Hybrid Perpetual and not the Centifolia ?

The description of the HP with pink and globular was incorrect, has been changed to crimson. 'Gaspard Monge' in the market today (if correct at all), is closer to the description of the centifolia by Robert. Please note that what was called "red" in the early 19th century is often only a very deep pink today. Light red is usually a deep pink.

I think the flower on this photo looks very much like the flowers of the centifolia. Is this rose in Amann's Garden flowering throughout the season ?
