My garden is in Brentwood California in the San Francisco Bay Area. It gets hot in the Summer (up to 110 Degrees) and is moderate in the Winter with an average of 15 to 25 days freezing or under. We used to have horses (13) so we have plenty of old alfalfa and horse manure that act as a great fertilizer. We flood irrigate most of our roses. This is a no spray garden.
