The rose garden in the La Tacita Country Club was established in 2002 by garden designer Gian Paolo Bonani (d. May 30, 2016) and comprises more than 5000 varieties on 20'000 m2. Since 2009, an anuual competition for new roses of less than 5 years was held on the grounds between 2009-2018.
