I've a growing collection of roses, mostly older varieties or midcentury smellers, intermixed with everything from species Impatiens to rare Chilean plants.
Zone is debatable. I'm in a little valley on a plateau. Just outside the valley, not 1/4 mile away, gets a degree or two lower in every freeze, but I'm much slower to warm up in Spring. Combine that with terribly-draining soil, and my garden probably rates half a zone lower.
