I have been gardening for decades in several zones, primarily bulbs, perennials and flowering shrubs. When I retired a few years ago I got into roses and have not looked back. Still learning and experimenting. My backyard, approximately 80 feet long and 50 feet wide, is my playground. The yard is bordered by mature oaks, evergreens and a ten foot brick wall; lots of privacy and lots of shade.
