Saint Anne’s Rose Garden was opened in 1975 on ten acres north of the Dublin city centre. Located within the large Saint Anne’s Park the best access point for the rose garden is off Mount Prospect Avenue; car park, public facilities including the cafe, Olive’s Room. The rose garden consists of around 6000 roses in large beds with lawn surrounds. The plantings are predominately modern floribundas and hybrid teas. An annual rose festival is held in July.
