New (est. 2021) desert garden in intermediate Sonoran Desert (about 2500 ft altitude), overlooking lower San Pedro River valley. Native, Mediterranean, and Australian plants for drought- and heat-tolerance. Small collection of historic irises. Rose selection is highly experimental, initially focused on teas, chinas, and old hybrid teas, along with some miniatures. Learning which types/varieties/cultural conditions work best in this location.
