I'm based in South East London/Kent - My garden is quite sheltered by a high wall & overshadowed a row of large trees, so I mostly get dappled light / partial shade, and its probabably over planted, so Perhaps not the best for roses, but they're doing fine; I also grow some roses on my allotment, which has quite a different growing conditions than my garden, getting full sun, totally open to the elements and due to time - having to get by on a certain level of light neglect. 

I have a love for the oddballs & purples. If anyone in the UK is growing some of the Legrice roses, please get in touch as I'd love some cuttings of Tom brown, vesper, grey dawn, jocelyn,  more happy to do cutting  swaps
