Larry Lougheed has been hybridizing roses since 1986. His aim has been to produce roses that are full bloomed, sturdy and disease resistant. Out of the many seedlings he was produced, only about one hundred have shown promise. Of these, there are 10 that Larry feels are roses that any rosarian would like in his or her garden. In fact, several have already won awards at rose shows.
