Located on the end of a peninsula and surrounded on 3 sides by water, our home was built in 1930. The property is considered by many to be the best on Lake Oswego, a private lake near Portland. The gardens were neglected for many years but since we purchased our home 9 years ago, I have strived to improve the home and garden for others enjoyment as well as our own. Some of my favorite plants in the garden are: many varieties of hardy fuchsias, hydrangeas, hosta, and hellebores, lovely old tree peonies, astrantia major, baby tears, Japanese fountain grass, climbing vines (clematis, hydrangea, roses, trumpet), roses (Playboy, Sheila's Perfume, Honey Bouquet, Jude the Obscure, etc.) and many others. There is a very lovely "white garden" with an antique fountain from Italy. There are also many old oak trees, large firs, maples, and dogwood trees, etc. Open by appointment only.
