Dear esteemed members of HMF,

Does anyone know if my unknown rose (see picture attached) could be 'Admiral Dewey', the white sport of 'Madame Caroline Testout'? I have been trying to ID this rose for more than 5 years with no success! :(

Thanks in advance for your help,
Mariano

Possibly, 'White La France'?

This is quite possible. The globular form of the bloom points to Mme Caroline Testout family. See also Marcir's photo of 'Admiral Dewey' which was ex Sangerhausen.

I've grown ''White La France' here for decades.

It's a legacy from my Wife's Grandmother. It's a very tough rose.
