Fire Dragon (Hybrid Tea-scented). A particularly fine variety, and one that is certain to please. The flowers which are large, full and sweetly scented, are a brilliant fiery red, which does not fade. The plants are very vigorous in growth with mildew proof foliage. Florence Russ HT. (G. Russ). A rose that should be in every collection. The colour in early spring is pink in the centre shading to a pearly white at the edges of the petals. During summer and autumn the colour is saffron orange in the centre shading to white at the edge of the petals. The flower is full and of perfect form, the petals being beautifully reflexed. With liberal treatment, large enough for exhibition, and a good garden rose, being of perfect habit, upright and branching. Slightly tea scented. The foliage is dark green and mildew proof. (Awarded gold medal, N.R.S.V.)
