Andenken an J. Eisenbeis (N. Welter). -- Fine, bright cerised sport of La France. Besides the colouring it is identical with the original sort. May be recommended in every respect. 3/6 each.

Hybrid Tea.
Angele d'Arnex (P. Bernaix). -- China rose, with silvery lavender blue reflexes, base of petals canary yellow, large, full, elongated bud, carried on long and stiff stems. Growth robust, very floriferous. Remarkable for the unique colouring, the elegant form and large size of the flowers, and the profusion with which they are produced. 2/6 each.

Anna Ollivier [sic]... Ducher, 1872, vigorous. Rosy flesh and buff; large, full; first-rate.

Hybrid Sweet Briars.
Pruning. — Cut back fairly hard the first season after planting; afterwards they only require thinning and slightly stopping the long shoots and laterals.

Moss Roses.
Their beautiful buds and delicious fragrance render these great favourites, and deservedly so. For Pruning see notes on Provence Roses. [These should be but slightly pruned. Remove all old wood, thin out some of the past season's shoots where overcrowded, shorten the laterals of those remaining, and cut back the young growths to about six eyes. Prune in February or March.]

Antoinette Massard (P. Nabonnand). -- Bright carmine red, with brilliant reflexes, tinted vermilion, fairly large, semi-double, of elegant form. Growth very vigorous, climbing, floriferous. 3/6 each.
