[The Journal of Horticulture, 1877, p. 198:] "J. Margottin Fils, Horticulteur,” is conspicuous on the pretty little house amongst its Rose beds even before the train from Paris glides into the station. Starting from the Place d'Enfer, the Sceaux line runs to the little town of Bourg-la-Reine in twenty minutes.

[Gartenflora, 1885, p. 168:] Jules Margottin fils, the Establishment known by ist extensive Rose cultures, earlier in Bourg-la-Reine near Paris, has been moved, and as a result, the current address is "Jules Margottin fils, horticulteur, 32 Rue Gueroux, Pierrefitte..."

[The Old Rose Advisor, by Brent Dickerson, p. 168:] Mons Jules Margottin fils is going to build up his nursery at Bourg-la-Reine (Seine), near the railway station. His nurseries, which escaped damage in the war [Franco-Prussian Was], are composed of the very best existing varieties of Roses, the same as his father had...
