I´ve bred 11 new cultivars of miniature, 5 of ground-covering and 3 of rambling roses. .
In the field of rose-improvement, I rather prefer the miniature and the ground-covering roses.
[From WFRS Regional Newsletter, Middle & Eastern European Members, Issue 2, April 2023, p. 19:] Szilvester Györy (1934 - ) is a breeder from Dunajská Streda, Slovakia. Inn his garden he has collected about 700 varieties, which has provided the basis for his work. His work focuses mainly on the creation of miniature roses. Since 1999, he has bred around 100 varieties.
