[From WFRS Regional Newsletter, Middle & Eastern European Members, Issue 2, April 2023, p. 13:] Josef Strnad (1904-1981) was born and worked all his life in Rosice u Brna. He started growing roses in 1926 and from the 1970s he also devoted himself to rose breeding. See also Josef Strnad Jr.
