National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow [From Applied Mutational Breeding for Vegetatively propagated Crops, by C. Broertjes, 1988, p. 198:] In later years other cultivars were irradiated with similar results (Datta and Gupta, 1982a, 1983; Gupta and Datta, 1982). Two commercial mutants were reported, namely 'Saroda' and 'Sukumari' obtained after gamma irradiation of budwood of 'Queen Elisabeth' and 'America's Junior Miss' respectively.
