I thought it could have been mislabeled. Do you know whether the Botanic Garden has corrected the ID?

They have not been notified by myself as I am unaware of who is in charge of the rose collection since the Covid virus interfered. I will send off a note of inquiry.

An article from 2016 sets 'Ottawa N02' = 'Frontenac' . Can you comment please?

Upon Dr. Svejda's retirement from the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, her advanced seedlings were sent to L'Assomption and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu for further testing and release. N02 was the code assigned to 'Frontenac'. "Ottawa" was noted as the source of the rose and should not be confused with the cultivar 'Ottawa'.
