I'm currently creating a formal rose garden in what used to be a front and side lawn at my home in Eugene, Oregon. Presently my favorite roses in multiple plantings are: Sixteen Candles, Double Delight, Ink Spots, Whisper, Legends, Pink Promise, Brandy, JFK, Peace, Oregold, Veterans Honor, Welcome Home, Saint Patrick. I have climbers Royal Sunset, Blaze of Glory, First Prize. Presently I still have room for 50 more plants most of which are already here but in large nursery pots until I finish the next section. My watering is done on timers with a drip system and I have the Black Spot Fungus under control. I am retired military and growing these roses and my garden are my passion. I recently identified a rose in my garden as an Ingrid Bergman and moved her to a special place in my garden.
