Bourbon.  Crimson.  Large, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 5b through 10b.   Henri & Giraud Pradel (père & fils) (1862).

Polyantha, Shrub.  Dark red.  Mild to strong fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Height of 1' to 28" (30 to 70 cm).   F.J. Grootendorst (1949).
