Photo taken last day of Spring, 2009, at the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden, in Victoria, Australia. An eye catching rose this one, that I just thought I had to get after seeing a vase of them at a local rose show. Grows strongly and blooms are well formed and mainly red and white, with what looks like a slight shade of orange.
Photo taken yesterday (mid summer) at the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden, just outside Melbourne, Australia. A very eye-catching rose, this one, especially when they get the "orangy" colour on the inner petals.
Photographed in my Idaho garden on September 28, 2012. This is a second year own-root plant and it blooms generously and often already, apparently happy in the dry heat of this high-desert climate. The blooms are long-lasting and size is good, so I understand why it makes a great florist rose. If it had more scent it would be nearly perfect!
