Of corse Arlette , I sent you a message just Yesterday , to inform you that I posted a picture of YOUR rose.I have also another one since I made a cut of my Mel's Heritage, and now this second is planted in another area of my garden. Truly a wonderful rose.

Unfortunately I did not receive your yesterday's message?
But still: I am thrilled to see how beautifully the rose is developing in your garden. Wonderful.
Have a fantastic New Year, dear Maddalena, and keep enjoying your beautiful garden.

Dear Hannes

Thank you so much for your kindness. When my husband Filippo and me bought this piece of land in North Italy it was a Vineyard .Year after year we have turned it into a rose garden and now, after 35 years, we have over 400
varieties of roses . Not everyone loves roses but we think a garden is not a garden without roses , and if you have roses in your garden everyone looks only at them .
I saw your pictures , you too have plenty of wonderful roses , sorry because you are a week-end gardener , but you live in a beautiful land where is not so hot like here in Italy, so I believe two days a week is enough to take care of them.
Un caro saluto dall'italia
Maddalena
