I have always been interested in breeding and hybridisation - not only in roses also in animals. Genetics are a very interesting research field. I've started the hybridisation of roses for a goog friend of mine to have a very special birthday present: A new rose named after her. Since I have started I cannot stop - it really is an outstanding thrill to create new roses. The goal of my breeding efforts is a very healthy rose with an extraordinary colour and exceptional strong fragrance.
