Ayrshire, Species / Wild.  Light pink.  Crimson buds.  Strong, anise, myrrh fragrance.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Height of up to 20' (up to 610 cm).  Width of up to 10' (up to 305 cm). Unknown (1837).
