I was introduced to roses by my grandmother who owns (and still takes care of) a big, organic garden. She grows mostly old garden roses mixed with herbs, medicinal plants and perennials. She calls it "the wilderness" but takes pride in the fact that she did organic gardening even before the word "organic" was really invented. I love her and she is a big inspiration to me.
