I am a lifelong gardener. I use organic methods and provide space and habitat for wildlife in my garden of native plants, roses, shrubs, fruit trees and vegetables. I belong to the Xerces Society and I am participating in a count of native bumblebees in 2022. I also belong to the Heritage Rose Foundation and I study antique rose varieties and wild rose species. I am also an artist; painting still life and landscape pictures.
My hope is to one day obtain another plant of the true 'American Beauty' rose ('Madame Ferdinand Jamain'), which does well in the inter-mountain climate.
