Hello! I’m Rosefiend Cordell (aka Melinda R. Cordell). Through my horticultural career I’ve worked as a municipal horticulturist, greenhouse manager, perennials czar, landscaper laborer, and a landscape designer. I also ran a public rose garden with over 300 roses while fighting off rose rosette disease.
These days, I write books and articles about what I’ve learned over the years in gardening, including the Easy-Growing Gardening series and the Hungry Garden series. This is much easier on my back. At home, I plant apple trees and roses while wrangling 6 chickens and a family. Good times!
