Origin:
Bred by Gerrit De Ruiter (Netherlands, 1977).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fryer's Roses/Fryer's Nurseries Ltd. in 1982 as 'Red Ace'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Mild fragrance.  up to 20 petals.  Double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 1' to 18" (30 to 45cm).  Width: 1' (30cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
