Origin:
Bred by Peter Lambert (Germany, before 1914).
Introduced in Germany by Peter Lambert in 1921 as 'Von Scharnhorst'.
Class:
Hybrid Foetida/Lutea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, golden-yellow center, yellow stamens, ages to cream .  Mild fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Light green, dense foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
