Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1987).
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) in 1992 as 'Phantom of the Opera'.
Class:
Floribunda, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Scarlet, yellow stamens.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2.75".  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, ruffled bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, mounded, spreading.  Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 6'7" (200cm).  Width: 6'7" (200cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 10b.  Can be used for garden, ground cover or hedge.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
