Bred by Gerrit De Ruiter (Netherlands, 1960).
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, coral shading.  Mild fragrance.  30 petals.  Full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
On 3 August 1958, the nuclear-powered submarine USS Nautilus became the first vessel to cross the North Pole under water. USS Nautilus completed the first underwater circumnavigation of the globe on May 10, 1960.
