Bred by Colin Dickson (1956-....) (United Kingdom, 1986). Bred by Patrick Dickson (1926-2012) (United Kingdom, 1986).
Class:
Floribunda, Miniature, Patio.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Mild fragrance.  15 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 1' to 21" (30 to 55cm).  Width: 18" to 21" (45 to 55cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
The Peter Beales Collection of Classic Roses 2000-2001 calls Gentle Touch a Floribunda and says its blooms are mid-pink to salmon.
