Origin:
Bred by Theodor F. Verschuren (1931- (Netherlands, 1993).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1993 as 'Comtesse du Barry'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Lemon-yellow.  Mild to strong fragrance.  up to 45 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, old-fashioned bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
