Encino, CA December 2, 2012 After four days of drizzle and cool nights, Carlin's Rhythm is producing some rather large flowers which are lasting quite well, even with today's breezes. I'm surprised how much scent I can detect from them, as cool and damp as it is.

Valley Village, California - taken 25 Jul 2012 Blooms unfurl to form a 3½ to 4½ inch rosette which lasts but a day or two - sometimes less. Petals fall off cleanly before cosmetic senility.

cut morning of 29 Jul 2012 - Valley Village ~~ ~~ 'Carlin's Rhythm' with 'Sweet Intoxication' behind and 'Lagerfeld' below. The pink is 'Reverend H'ombrain' and the yellow, a fantastic floribunda from J&P, not listed on this site and not in J&P's current catalog, is called 'Sunny Days' (not 'Daze!!') - the best performing yellow floribunda that I've ever seen in this area, I'd post more pictures if there were an entry for it.
