The card with the rose says its "somewhat cascading." Should I give it something to climb on?

When a rose is described as cascading, it only means that the canes are pliable and will bend over with the weight of the flowers. This rose looks nice when grow near a path or planted on a slope then it will bend over. You can also keep it shorter simple by pruning it hard in the spring.

It doesn't grow large enough (2' x 3') to be effective as a climber. It does, however look great in a hanging basket, or spilling over the sides of a large pot.
